The sideswipe of the quill on a dull day, or perhaps the meticulous log of an obsessed perfectionist. Primarily personal candy, give or take a flake of wisdom.
I have decided, definitively, that I am austistic. I have all the classic signs: Impenetrability to emotional cues; a dense approach to interpersonal relationships; a predisposition toward systematic reasoning and mathematical logic; and a generally linear mode of reasoning.
I am an easygoing, overidealistic person who gets turned on by jazz, poetry & French food. After chasing a rugby ball in a previous life, I have currently settled on a more mundane lifestyle of Dionysian revelry (or so I wish). I stay sane by reading, writing, and occasional doses of serious philosophical thought (all of which usually get me nowhere). I champion honesty, humility, courage, and open-mindedness, especially in pets and other people. In another life, I would be an astronaut; in this one, however, I'm a professor in a small liberal arts college.
